Memorial Day

So this weekend Jeff and I decided to head out of town for Memorial Day, we've decided since we found out that I'm pregnant that we're going to have as much fun as we can before we're "tied down" by our little kidney bean, aka the baby. In order to do this we have decided that one mini vacation every month until about September is our plan. So for this months mini vacation we headed down to Las Vegas!! One of Jeff's brothers lives down there with his wife so we figured it was a two for one deal, visit the family and vacation all in one. It turned out so nice after a super smooth ride down on Friday night we arrived in Las Vegas at about 12:30 Vegas time and hit the sack. Saturday morning was wonderful, since we had gotten into town so late we slept in until about 10:30 after a relaxing morning we decided we would head out and see a movie. The movie we all agreed on was X-Men: Wolverine or whatever the actual title is ha ha anyway it was a GREAT movie action packed and very entertaining. After the movie Jeff and I wanted to get a little bit of Vegas in while we were in town so we decided on a quick trip to the strip. We had to be quick because since it was Memorial Day it would be busy but also my poor sister-in-law Candice is a little over 2 months pregnant and very sick any food, car ride, or smell can set the poor girl off. Anyway down to the strip we went. Our first and only stop was at the Belagio hotel to see the gardens, if you didn't know the Belagio has a garden that is amazing and they change the theme of the garden every few months, this month the theme was summertime so there was a mini ferris wheel and a huge snail and lady bug all made out of flowers. It was a ton of fun but like I said it was a quick stop:) To wrap up our Saturday we hung out a Brian and Candice's and watched movies. Sunday was spent relaxing and watching more movies and playing games along with a delicious steak barbeque courtesy of Brian, it was AMAZING!!! And Monday we were up and packed and on the road by 12:00. It was a great relaxing weekend just what Jeff and I need. Anyway that about does it for our life recently, we find out the gender of our little kidney bean on Friday so I will be sure to fill everyone in on that as soon as I can. :)
